COPYRIGHT ISSUES As an artist you are protected under the
Pinterest terms of agreement. You are allowed to take action if someone has used your pictures without your consent. You are not protected under this agreement as a user. If Pinterest comes under fire for a copyright issue, Pinterest will be more than happy to place all charges on you.
COPYRIGHT ISSUES Using images without others consent is
a violation of copyright. Almost every image you find can be pinned, but you need to make sure you are pinning within copyright. Meaning you may need to get the photographers consent before pinning.
Solution: Only pin your own images or images you know are open source.
COMPLAINT FORM If you are concerned that someone may
be using your trademark in an infringing way on Pinterest you can fill out and submit a complaint form. This will give the person who pinned the work to be forced to take it off their Pinterest page.
