Primary purpose of State assessments is to provide a common denominator to measure Michigan student skills and knowledge in a consistent way at the same time.

• Students who have earned valid scores may not retake the MME; may retake ACT at own cost

Update on MME

• The current contract for MME expires with the completion of responsibilities for the Spring 2013 MME

• A new request for proposal will be issued shortly to secure a contract to continue the MME in Spring of 2014 as required by current legislation
