What is STEP? Student Trainee Exchange Program (STEP) is a program under the duties of Training, Exchange, and Development (TED) Office that provides ALSA members with international internship opportuni-ties. This program will expose ALSA members to various areas of actual legal practice in different countries with different legal systems, expanding ALSA members’ networks

across countries, and to immerse ALSA members in different cultures. Although, STEP Employers are the ones who determine which applicants are accepted, TED office will closely assist the applicants from the beginning of the process, during the internship period and until returning back to their home country, things other internship programs are not able to provide.

Vietnam&

If you are look for a promising destination for your internship, Vietnam is definitely the one! With the increase in prominence on a global scale, there are more and more foreigners who choose to work in Vietnam. Living in Vietnam is unique and enriching experience everywhere you go.

Living in Hanoi Hanoi is the economic, political and cultural center of Vietnam, featuring both the graces of traditional values and modern dynamism. With its tree-lined streets, serene lakes and unique architecture, UNESCO has recognized Hanoi as a city of peace. Hanoi features a warm humid subtropical climate with plentiful precipitation. The city experiences the typical climate of northern Vietnam, where summers are hot and humid, and winters are, by national standards, relatively cool and dry.

Living in Ho Chi Minh City Ho Chi Minh City is a fascinating blend of the modern and the traditional, making it more a place to 'be' than a place to 'see'. Although attractions like Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum are well worth a look, the experience of sitting and chatting with the locals, or getting on the back of a motorbike taxi just for the sake of being in amongst it all, or just relaxing and watching Vietnam change, right before your eyes; those are the moments that you will treasure when your overseas study experience is just a memory.
