University of Southern Queensland – Human Resources Intern
Location
Toowoomba, Queensland
Position Duration
Minimum of 152 hours or 4 weeks full time
Commencing November – December 2019
Position Overview
The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for assisting with the provision of human resource related services to internal clients across the University, including recruitment, selection and appointment, staff entitlements and conditions of employment, implementation of a range of employee development activities, implementing outcomes from organisational change and restructuring processes, and undertaking transnational and administrative processes associated with HR documentation and HRMS data.
The HR Intern will work in collaboration with the Senior HR
Partner to understand the HR needs of clients and provides guidance, support and solutions to work areas, operating within the University’s HR Policies and Procedures.

Eligibility Requirements
Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Australian citizens, permanent residents and international students with full working rights
Identify as having disability
USQ students will take priority
Candidates may be required to undergo a background check security clearance
