What is Stomach Acidity?
• Well basically, Stomach acid is in our stomach.
• It's a big part of the digestive process that breaks down foods and then sorts them out into the right place
Hyper acidity Problems
1. Heartburn
2. Vomiting 3. A heavy feeling, as if the food is just sitting
in the stomach in a lump
Medications used to treat gastric hyper acidity
• An antacid is a substance which neutralizes stomach acidity
• It can work by two ways: either direct by increasing the PH of the stomach or by blocking the secretion of acid from the gastric cell.
• E.g: Magnesium oxide (zinctac) e.t.c
