Advance gender equity Providing leadership and expertise in the development and implementation
of policies and strategies relevant to gender equity, resulting in the
advancement of gender equity at structural, cultural and individual levels.
Promote women’s sexual and reproductive healthImproving women’s sexual and reproductive health at all levels of policy
and practice by ensuring that the sexual and reproductive rights, health and
wellbeing of all women are enshrined in legislation and are appropriately
resourced and implemented.
Prevent violence against womenProviding leadership, expertise, capacity building and structural support
for the prevention of violence against women, ensuring that the prevention
infrastructure is sustained and strengthened.
Build an influential and sustainable peak body Strengthening stakeholder investment and organisational structures and
capabilities resulting in an influential and sustainable peak body.
Our priorities are reviewed regularly to take account of emerging
evidence and needs across all regions of Victoria.
