Present Code Listing Page 2-WHEN IS THE CODE IN FORCE? Presently reads: The code is in force …on school property prior to, during, and following regular school hours. …while students are on the school bus for any purpose. …at all school sponsored events and other activities where school administrators have jurisdiction over students. …off campus. Red Clay has the authority to suspended or expel its students for activities occurring off school premises when it is determined that a student presents a threat to the safety or welfare of Red Clay students or personnel… Additionally, the principal is authorized to take administrative action when a student’s misconduct to and from school has a harmful effect on the other students or on the orderly educational process. Addendum: Any student who actively hinders an investigation or any student who aids, is involved with the planning, or helps another students in any way in an act which violates the Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action.
