Student Employment Instructions: Applying for Work Study Positions

Step 1: Have a resume ready to go A resume may be required to apply for work study positions. We strongly encourage you to take this opportunity to establish your resume in the LUCIE system so this requirement will not prevent you from applying for positions. The Center for Career & Professional Development has resources to assist you. Step 2: Log into LUCIE Go to: https://lehigh-csm.symplicity.com/sso/students Log in with your Lehigh credentials. Step 3: Upload your resume to your account

Step 4: Find Jobs

Click Jobs LUCIE Jobs

Step 5: Narrow down to Work Study Positions

Click ADVANCED SEARCH (on the right)

Select Federal Work Study Position Type

Then select the SEARCH Button

Step 6: Learn about the positions

Click on any of the job posting titles to learn more information about the position.

Step 7a: Apply

When you click on a posting to learn more, you’ll see the APPLY Button (if no apply button, see below)

Step 7b: Attach your resume

Once you click APPLY, you’ll be asked to select a resume for your application:

You’ll then be notified that you applied for the position.

NOTE: Some jobs will not have the APPLY button. For these positions, please note their applications instructions.

Once you have submitted your application, the position supervisor will review your information and contact you if they are interested. Please contact the supervisor directly to check the status of your application at any time.
