Overall Communications Objective:To spread the word about the Wellness 50+ initiative, what it hopes to achieve, how to get involved and the results the initiative is producing.

Wellness 50+ Team Members and VolunteersObjective: Ensure effective operations; deepen ownership; celebrate successes

Channels: Person-to-person meetings; meeting agendas and notes; shared document drive (Google Docs, Dropbox, etc.); email

Timing: Ongoing

Participants in Projects and ProgramsObjective: Engage diverse participants in programs; keep people informed of events and outcomes

Channels: One-to-ones; mass email; bulletin boards; Facebook page; website, word of mouth

Timing: Ongoing

Boarder CommunityObjective: Inform community about program; recruit new members; report accomplishments

Channels: Bulletin boards; emails; attending community meetings; website; blogs

Timing: At regular integrals with updates

External Partners and Funders Objective: Share successes and demonstrate value

Channels: Grant reporting requirements; Vital Aging Network reporting

Timing: At reporting periods

Policy MakersObjective: Inform about how policy changes can contribute to community-based wellness efforts

Channels: Meetings with policymakers; information packets

Timing: Prior to important policy decisions
