MUSIC LISTS
NOTES
COLLEGE TOUR At 5.30pm on the first day there will be a short tour of the College campus for anyone who is new to the site. Please meet in The Meadows (where you came for registration).
THE TUTORIAL SESSIONS
Tutorials will be daily between 9:15am and 10:45am (from 8:00pm on the first day and until 10:15am on the last day) from Saturday 26th July to Saturday 2nd August. Students must have their own copies of music for Tutorials and are expected to have practised before the course starts.
THE ENSEMBLE SESSIONS
There are eleven ensemble sessions, (11:15 to 12:15 and 5:15 to 6:15), with a choice of five or six ensembles on each occasion, graded difficult, moderate or easy. The morning sessions include one “extra difficult” option, which is open to students from the three advanced technique classes. Other players wishing to join these ensembles, please check with your tutor beforehand. The tutors are indicated by initials, and in the course of the week all tutors take ensembles in each grade. You will be asked to indicate your choice of sessions on the previous day. The moderate sessions are listed in order of difficulty. It is preferable that students should have their own copies, but some music will be available on loan at sessions marked L. All music is provided where shown as MS. All published music listed for tutorials and ensembles can be obtained from Recorder MusicMail in advance or at the School. See back cover for contact details. Students are reminded that the use of unauthorised photocopies is illegal.
Course location: Bishop Burton College, Bishop Burton, near Beverley, East Yorkshire. HU17 8QG Telephone: 01964 553000
