INN-Reach circulation messages no longer include personal patron data when sent between local sites.

To accommodate titles of extended length, the number of characters from the title field sent in INN-Reach circulation messages now contain to 256 characters. (from 32 characters).

An improved matching algorithm accommodates the 13 digit ISBN.

INN-Reach paging slips will be customizable, including the ability to use the paging slip a a bookband for self-service holds.

It will be possible to checkout INN-Reach items on devices that use the Innovative SIP2 interface.

SelfCheck units, such as 3M, will now be able to handle the INN-Reach virtual items

Local URL

Local URL support provides a means for differentiating between generally available resources and locally licensed resources in the central catalog

A locally defined MARC field will display in both the local and central catalog as a clickable link to the resource described.

NCIP support

INN-Reach systems using the Innovative DCB system will have the option of providing NCIP messaging between the DCB system and their members who use non-Innovative library systems.

Pass2ILL, INN-Reach

INN-Reach requests that could not be filled can be forwarded to the interlibrary loan department for further handling.

ArticleReach 2007 Enhancements

Secondary match on ISSN

For INN-Reach systems that want to consider 022 subfields when records are loaded to the central server, secondary matching on ISSN will attempt a match on either the 022|a or the 022|y

(if contained in identical subfields in the incoming record and the existing record)

ArticleReach Preferred Methods

Patrons and participating libraries will be able to indicate their preferred methods of supply and delivery of articles requested via ArticleReach.

Customizable paging slips

ArticleReach paging slips will be customizable, including the ability to print the Request ID as a scannable barcode so that staff processing the request can scan in the RequestID number.

Pass2ILL for Millennium ILL

Article requests that cannot be supplied by an ArticleReach partner can be passed to Millennium ILL for further handling.
