Dressing up for BloomsdayUlysses is set in the Edwardian era. Leading actresses and royalty inspired fashion to become sporty, fun and stylish. Here are some ideas for dressing up.
LadiesThis was the era of wigs and hairpieces. For the Pompadour style, backcomb your hair into a big cloud and top it o with a bun. Make-up was subtle, but slap it on if you are feeling naughty.
Gents Hair was short and neat, parted in the middle or at the side, and slicked back with pomade. Beards were out and pampered moustaches were in.
