We also produce whitening and anti-ageing cosmetic materials as well as UV cutting dispersions and inorganic coating powder. Methicone offers good waterproof effect by highly hydrophobic properties, and provides light feeling. Methicone coated powder has high adherence to the skin and provides a matte feeling.

03 | TRIETHOXYCAPRYLYLSILANE COATED POWDERS
Compared to methicone and dimethicone, triethoxycaprylylsilane can be easily bonded with a powder by more functional groups for binding with the –OH group on the powder’s surface. It adheres strongly to the surface of powder’s owing to the chemical reaction between the hydroxyl group of an inorganic powder’s surface and the silanol group of caprylylsilyl group. In result, triethoxycaprylylsilane coated powder is strongly resistant to heat and pH and can be easily dispersed to silicone oil. It also gives a smooth feeling by reducing the surface resistance of the powder.

01 | METAL SOAP COATED POWDER
This powder is coated with metal soap (aluminium stearate or magnesium stearate or zinc stearate). A metal soap has the affinity with the skin and the water–proof effect by the hydrophobic group of fatty acid. The coated powders with the metal soap improve the adhesiveness to skin and provide silky and moist feeling.

Vegetable wax is a natural materials, it has a good oxidation stability because of consisting mostly saturated fatty acid and it also has a good affinity to the skin. Lecithin is one of a group of yellow-brownish fatty substances occurring in animal and plant tissues, and in egg yolk. It is composed of phospholic acid, choline, fatty acid, glycol, glycolipid, triglycerides, and phospholipid. It has low solubility in water. In aqueous solution its phospholipids can form either liposomes, bilayer sheets, micelles, or lamellar structures.
Lecithin coated powder gives a smooth feeling. As it contains a phospholipid similar to the skin’s structure, it has good affinity and gives a moisturizing feeling on skin.
This powder is organic/inorganic hybrid coating products which is a inorganic powder coated with organic complex containing the stabilized functional materials. A lecithin and ceramide in the organic complex has a good phase stability in emulsification and moisturizing effect . Chemland has registered a patent for an organic/inorganic hybrid technology for coating a stabilized organic complex on to an inorganic powder. (patent registration No. 10-0768113)

01 | FUNCTIONAL MATERIAL COATED ON ELASTOMER BEAD
Those powders are inorganic materials coated on elastomer bead to overcome coagulation. The feeling and functionality of the surface treated powder have been improved compared with raw materials because the surface treatment alter those of the physical and chemical properties.
This powder is a 3~15㎛ spherical silicone elastomer bead coated with inorganic powder (Talc) and a white nano size pigment (TiO2, ZnO). It can be applied to twin cake, powder pact and face powder. It offers a silky, smooth and cushiony feeling.

CVD PROCESSED POWDER
CVD, abbreviated of Chemical Vapor Deposition, is an engineering process by which thin silicone film is created on IC board.
The properties of powder which is used for twin cake and powder pact should not be removed from sweat and water, so materials for powdery products are coated by silicone and ester oil. Most manufacturers of coating powder spray oil on to powder; however this method has a major disadvantage in that it does not enable spraying on to the powder evenly. Another method of coating the oil on to finely ground powder requires repeated grinding and coating, reducing overall productivity.
In order to overcome the above problem, CVD coating powder was developed to improve productivity as well as enabling an even coating of oil to be sprayed on to finely ground powder. Our products, CVD coating powder are coated evenly compared to conventional products and it can be spread on skin evenly and thinly. This is our advantage of products. As our skin is often exposed to excessive levels of UV-rays due to the depletion of the ozone layer by environment pollution, there are a high risk of skin cancer and sunburn. To overcome such problems, cosmetics manufacturer develop the UV absorbents which absorbs and scatters UV rays or the UV diffusing agent which scatters and reflect UV rays. As a results that, the market of cosmeceutical needs the functional products which SPF value is high.
This products is a UV cutting dispersion with nano-size titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. We disperse nano-size TiO2 in silicone or ester oil and then we use milling instruments to improve a level of dispersibility and phase stability.
It can be applied to all sun care products including sun screen and BB creams which requires a higher SPF.
