2 Ways to Earn Points
1. Nursing 420- Community Health Nursing is divided into 15 weekly modules. Each module will require participation in a weekly discussion topic, determined by the faculty.
Each weekly discussion is worth 50 points and will be graded according to the following rubric (guidelines)
Students must submit their main post for each week to turnitin.com as well as to the discussion thread in WebCT.
Students should note that the majority of the points in this course will come from the weekly discussions. Students should devote sufficient time and effort to their weekly discussion posts which should demonstrate that they have read and understood the assigned material.

2. Group Position Paper/Presentation……………………………………(250)
Each group will select (with instructor approval): A current community health topic and prepare a balanced, evidenced based, paper on the topic. (20%)
The paper should be 6-10 pages in length and in APA format
The paper will be shared with the class The group should strive to select an emerging issue in
community health on which public policy is not yet established or is considered controversial. (5%)
Each group will present the topic in a non biased fashion. (5%)
