Timeline
• Pre-2001 – Thomson Scientific’s relationship with Spain begins with many universities using our data individually
• 2001 – During the year of FECYT’s founding, several purchasing groups within Spain’s regional consortia had already invested in the Web of Science
• 2004 – FECYT consolidated Spain’s investment, and provided the nation’s entire scientific community with new solutions available within the ISI Web of Knowledge
• 2007 – FECYT renews with Thomson Scientific for a four-year period and is now one of our largest customers worldwide
