Babrala plant is the most energy efficient urea plant in India; 4% market share by capacity
Haldia plant making phosphates is highly dependent on imports for feedstock
Backward integration with JV stake in IMACID, Morocco for manufacture/ supply of phosphoric acid
Going forward, Haldia plant moving from production of DAP to margin accretive complexes such as NPK 10, 12 & 20
Increasing volumes on traded bulk (e.g. DAP imports) - Trading margins thin, but help with additional profits, improved brand equity and higher sale of non-bulk such as specialty, seed & pesticides
