This presentation gives a few thoughts and tips for anyone thinking about using Second Life in the education of health professionals such as medical students, nurses and midwives. Don’t lose sight of learning outcomes

Embed Second Life into curriculum

Design comprehensive orientation program

Allow students & staff time to ‘play’ to build confidence &

competence
