Team Reminders for Parents

Sign Agenda daily AFTER reviewing homework and behavior card

Make certain your child is filling out agenda completely

Send note when student is absent; email and/or school attendance form is most helpful!

CMS Media Center visited every Wednesday

Reading Log is due every Wednesday (agenda pgs. 16 and 17) HW grade

Students should be reading Monday through Thursday for at least 30 minutes. (120min/wk)

READING continued… Three Reading Counts Tests are

due each quarter. Students are expected to complete one every three weeks. (Next due date: September 11th)

Students should read a minimum of 3 books (fiction books/ nonfiction books) per quarter.

6th grade earth science is designed to give all students an overview of common strands in earth science: meteorology, geology, astronomy, oceanography, and human impact on the earth.

Science Fair – Who?

Students in advanced science are required to complete a science fair project.

Students in advanced social studies are required to complete a social science fair project.

Students in advanced science AND advanced social studies are required to complete a science fair OR social science fair project (they choose).
