SportsUpdateNetball-Netballisintoitsfinalstretch,withonly3moregamestogointheseason.Wewillbe having a special Netball Prize Giving in an assembly towards the end of this term tocelebrate the students’ successful seasons. CulturalLeadersUpdateThe 31st of July saw the start of Cook Island Language Week here at PonsonbyIntermediate.Studentsandteachersalike,werechallengedtobroadentheirknowledgeofthe Cook Islands. Many competitions were held throughout the week but the highlightseemedtobethe‘Ura’Off,wherestudentsdemonstratedtheirbesttraditionaldancemovesinfrontoftheschool!We will be organising more cultural events throughout the year and we will keep youupdated.
