Immunisation Records

Thank you to those who have brought in their child’s immunisation

records. Please bring in your child's records to the school office for us

to copy if you have not already done so. To request immunisation

records you can contact the Te Kuiti Medical Centre or Maniapoto

Whanau Ora Centre. They can print it off for you to pick up free of

charge, or call the National Immunisation Register on 0800 100 273 to

have them emailed to you.

Touch

Touch begins in Week 2 of Term 4. All Year 3 & 4, Year 5 & 6, Year 7 &

8 children interested in playing touch can get a permission form from

their class teacher. Coaches for Year 3 & 4, Year 5 & 6 are required.

Alastair Walker is the Year 7 & 8 coach. Fees of $20 and return forms

are due to the office by Friday 27th September.

Te Kuiti High School Technology

All students attending technology must wear covered shoes.

Conservation Week

Room 2 will be visiting the Kiwi House Wednesday 25th September as

part of their Conservation Week studies.

Drama Lessons

Rooms 1, 2, 4 and 8 will take part in a 45 minute drama lesson next

Tuesday 24th September with Rachel Davis, a qualified Drama Teacher.

Global Games

Best of luck to Mairangiatea Walker, Flaye Marshall and EJ Liufau who

are taking part in the NZ Junior Rugby Festival held in Taupo 19th -

22nd September.

All Year 5 - 8 netballers will have the opportunity to have a

fun session with Rachel Davis next Tuesday 24th September

at 11am. As well as teaching Drama, Rachel works for

Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone.

Duffy Role Model Assembly

Abbie Harker-Ferguson was our guest at

Duffy Book Assembly held yesterday.

Abbie is a New Zealand singer and

songwriter living in Auckland. Signed to

Waatea Music, Abbie has written and

released an EP titled ‘Only Human’ and more

recently, a soul-pop album titled ‘LOST/

FOUND’.

We thoroughly enjoyed her visit with us.
