Project Overview
Community malls – small, semi open-air shopping malls targeting local residents – are
becoming increasingly popular in Thailand. The latest example is newly opened Rain
Hill in the Thong Lo area, a popular district among Japanese living in Bangkok. Many
of the mall’s F&B outlets are Japanese restaurants, including the first Marugame
noodle shop, a franchise brought in from Japan by the developer (Boutique Asset) of
this mall.
Anchor tenant is Wine Connection Tapas Bar and Bistro on the ground floor of the mall.
The development spans 3 storeys and 2 basement levels.
The developer plans to open another Rain Hill mall, also in the Sukhumvit area, within
the next two years. Rain Hill II will be triple the size of Rain Hill I.
