With STEAM-N, children are learning skills the waythey are used in the real world and workforce. Thinkabout it, rarely does a job require only one skill setlike math. For example, architects use science, math,engineering and technology all woven together inpractical and seamless ways allowing them to design complex, functional and beautiful buildings.

According to the authors of Steam Kids, STEAM-N isall about inspiring our next generation of inventors,innovators and leaders to:

Question things like a scientist;Design like a technologist;Build like an engineer;Create like an artist;Deduce like a mathematician while playing;Play like a kid.

SCIENCE While playing-children will be experimenting, analyzing, predicting, and hypothesizing.

TECHNOLOGY While playing-children will explore tools of the trades, make their own inventions, examine robotics and cause/effect.

ENGINEERING While playing-children will learn about designing and building, take apart and put together all sorts of machines, and develop problem solving abilities.

ART While playing-children will discover the many layers ofmusic, varieties of dance, and have an opportunity to delve into their hidden dramatic talents, as well as utilize a litany of art materials.

MATH While playing-children will understand that math is not only about adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. They will be discovering spatial concepts and pattern relationships.They will be measuring, sequencing and analyzing data.

NATURE While playing-children will locate (maybe even visitsome) lakes, rivers, and streams. They will participate in recycling,and perhaps uncover their joy of landscaping and gardening.

LAS MATEMÁTICAS Mientras jugando, los niños van a entender que las matemáticas no son solamente para sumar, substraer, multiplicar y dividir. Van a descubrir conceptos espaciales, secuencias, medidas y análisis.

LA NATURALEZA Mientras jugando, los niños van a localizar (o tal vez, visitar) unos lagos, ríos y arroyos. Van a participar en el reciclaje, y posiblemente descubrir un interés en paisajes o jardines.
