Margaret Chizek, RN, FNP, BSN, MBA, AAS — an advanced practice nurse, who along with her clinical experience, has significant healthcare consulting experience in Risk, Claims, Utilization Management, and Quality Improvement. She has worked in the senior services segment of healthcare for more than 20 years in management and consulting roles.

Self-employed since 2002, the scope of Margaret’s business ventures include legal nurse consulting, risk management consulting, eldercare navigating, and advocacy as a geriatric care manager.

As a geriatric care manager her practice is clinically focused, but relies on expertise from multiple disciplines including legal, financial, insurance and behavioral health. She develops and delivers an interdisciplinary plan to maintain the safety, dignity, autonomy, independence, and quality of life for seniors. Through her negotiation and mediation she keeps families intact. The outcome of her practice is peace of mind for the caregiver.
