World Students Day Celebrations-2015

Dear Parents,

As you all know, United Nations Orgaznization (UNO) declared 15th October,

the birth day of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam as the “World Students Day”.

He was not just the people’s President, but an inspirational personality who

also was a teacher, scientist, author, professor and policy maker. Despite

having such great qualities, the most endearing feature of his personality was

his simplicity.

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam was born on 15th October 1931 in Rameswaram. He

worked with DRDO and ISRO. He was 11th President of India from 2002 to

2007.

He has also authored a good number of books, the most popular of them are

“Wings of Fire””, India 2020 and Ignited Minds. We have 30 different books

written by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam in our school Library.

Besides these roles, he was an inspiration to students and youth of the

country. His last conscious moment was spent in front of students at IIM,

Shillong.

To pay homage to this great son of Mother India, we organized a function
