1. Para adjetivos de una silaba que termine en “e” se le agrega ST.
We use superlatives to compare three or more objects, people or places. Usamos superlativos para comparar tres o mas objetos, personas o sitios.
The rules for creating superlative adjectives are similar to those used when making comparative adjectives
Ex. The safest way to travel is the train.
2. Para adjetivos de una silaba que terminan en una vocal + una consonante, se agrega la misma consonante (siempre la misma consonante) + EST.
Ex. The biggest mean of transportation is the ship.
3. Para adjetivos de una silaba que terminan en más de una vocal o más de dos consonantes, se agrega EST.
Ex. The fastest way to travel is the plane .
4. Para adjetivos de dos silabas que terminan en Y, se sustituye la Y por una I + EST
Ex. The easiest way to travel around the city is the bus.
5. Para los adjetivos largos de tres ó más silabas se antepone MOST
Ex. The most uncomfortable way to travel is the bike .
