The Costa Rican“Wiwichu”Wiwichu”

One evening, on a beach in Costa Rica, One evening, on a beach in Costa Rica, a handsome young Tico and a very pretty Tica a handsome young Tico and a very pretty Tica

were wrapped in each other’s arms - were wrapped in each other’s arms - when suddenly he asked her:when suddenly he asked her:  

“Linda, let me do the wiwichu !” 

“Oh no mi amor,” his beloved replied, “…what do you think I am?

I cannot allow you to do that!”

“Belleza,” he said, “…it’s such a beautiful night, won’t you please let me do

the wiwichu !” 

“No, I do not want you to!”

“Please Linda, it is now or never,let me do the wiwichu…”

“Well then, if you must mi amor, but only because I love you.” 

And so the young Tico took his instrument in his hand

…and began:

…. Wiwichu a merry crismas, wiwichu a merry crismas,  wiwichu a merry crismas, and a happy niu yirrrr !!!
