Pam has been one of our Dealers for several
years and is an expert on Jade-ite. She is on
the NOGA Board. She can also be seen in
action as one of our Live Auctioneers where
she battles for the top seller spot against her
husband, Bob.
They operate their business
"Depression Classics" out of Gurnee, IL.
JAMIE MANDERS
Jamie has been a member of the Crescent
City Depression Glass Society for several
years and has many lovely collections from
several glass companies, often in their most
stunning shades of blue. This Convention
she is presenting her English Hobnail pattern
in the rarely seen Ice Blue color.
It is truly a stunning sight to see.
BRENDA REILL V
Brenda has also been a dedicated member
of the Crescent City Depression Glass
Society. She is the club Webmaster and
social media manager.
She will be presenting on Weil Ware, a
Southern California pottery company active
from the 1930s through the 1960s that pro
duced items from figurines to dinnerware.
RONNIE & GLORIA BROADBENT
Ronnie & Gloria are dedicated longtime
members of the Crescent City Depression
Glass Society, our Host Club this year.
Knowledgeable on depression era glassware,
they are always wonderfully happy to share
their experience with others.
In 2017, they assisted the Old State capitol
in organizing glass collections for an exhibit
that was the museum's highest attended in
memory. Please make sure to view their
display dedicated to the beautiful ambers of
elegant depression glass.
They reside in Baton Rouge, LA.
GEORGE DANSKER & JACK BELSOM
George & Jack have been members Clf the
Crescent City Depression Glass Society for
several years and have an extensive Harle-
quin collection, along with Fiesta anc:l other
Depression Era pottery.
George has been a professional librarian for
twenty years and enjoys learning more
about what he loves to collect. He and Jack
both enjoy other American pottery such as
Roseville and Newcomb, which started here
in New Orleans out of the women's college
now associated with Tulane University.
Jack is also well-versed in the French Opera
House of New Orleans.

3 cans of kidney beans, onrinsed
¼ lb. ham or sausage, chunked
1 bay leaf
2 T8SP cooking oil 1 onion, chppped
1 green betJ pepper, chopped
2 tsp chopped garlic, or to taste. 2 TBSP dried thyme
2 TBSP dried sage
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp white pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Salt , to taste 3 cups cooked rice
RED BEANS & RICE
To a large pot, add kidney beans, chunk meat, & bay
leaf. Cover with water and bring to a boil. In a skillet,
heat oil then add onions & bell pepper. Cook until
onions are translucent. Add garlic & cook for 2
minutes. Add thyme, sage, & the three peppers to
cook for 2 minutes. Add the skillet mixture to the
beans and bring to a boil. Once the pot reaches its
boil, drop the heat until the pot simmers consistently.
Add salt to taste. It is best to .simmer for a couple
hours to break beans down, then cool & thicken. But
it's okay if it just smells too good to wait! Serve over
rice with a side of your favorite meat & ENJOY!
