Thyroid Gland

Parathyroid Gland

Thymus Gland

Pancreas

Adrenal Glands

Major GlandsGlands Function

Hypothalamus Receives information from the nervous system and controls the pituitary gland

Pituitary Gland Secretes growth hormone along with hormones that control other endocrine glands

Thyroid Gland Controls metabolism

Thymus Signals the immune system to produce cells to fight infections

Pancreas Secretes insulin and glucagon, which regulate blood sugar levels

Adrenal Glands Release hormones that enable the body to respond to stress.
