Objectives for the task

This LES presents various directed activities in order to initiate the students, through the living world to the use of measurement instruments as well as to laboratory work techniques.

Upgrade of previous knowledge;

Initiation to measurement instruments (scale, graduated cylinder);

Initiation to a separation process: filtration;

Introduction of tropisms and photosynthesis;

Discovery of coloured pigments in plants.

The objective, to distinguish between:

Evapo-perspiration.

Using examples, videos and demonstrations, show the students that plants feed themselves, breathe and perspire.
