The process of the making of my music magazine

I used my shot list to guide and remind me of the important conventions that I used within the magazine.

I decided to look for the top Hip-Hop and RnB artists to state on my front cover. I did this to be safe as the top of the charts are always changing and I did not want my magazine front cover to a mistake on it.

I tried out many different colours, fonts and positions to see the best one that matches my magazine.

The covering and viewing technique on Photoshop helped me to present and see the different styles on my product.

I used peer feedback to make some changes in order to improve my product.

I showed my nearly finished product (above) to my peers in order for me to gain feedback. My peers thought that the models cheek did not look flattering; So I decided to blend and cover the models cheek which gave it a better finish (right)

I decided to do a questionnaire to my target audience to see what they would like to read about any artists.

This questionnaire gave me an idea on what to write about the artists. I think there is a high chance of my target audience buying this magazine as they suggested what they would want to read about the artists but also I revolved my article around these suggestions.

My double page spread fist started like this where I was going to put two images on the double page spread. Then I showed some of my audience the product and asked for some peer feedback where they said that it would look better if there was only one picture placed on the page.
