LLMOur one-year, full-time, master’s-level

law program offers international

lawyers an opportunity to gain a

strong grounding in U.S. law and the

common law system while polishing

their communication and legal skills.

Options are available for a General

LLM as well as specialized LLM

degrees in Intellectual Property and

International Business. A first degree

in law from a non-U.S. law school is

required.

LLM/MBALLM/MBA candidates enjoy the best of both worlds:

access to an advanced legal degree combined with a

sophisticated business education. One of only a few

programs of its kind in the world, the LLM/MBA Dual

Degree prepares students to deal effectively with

global and legal transactions – a combination that

gives our graduates a distinct advantage in a world

where law and business are increasingly

interdependent and globally focused. Students take

classes full-time at both schools – steps apart from

each other on Richmond’s beautiful campus – in this

24-month program.

TWO-YEAR J.D. This program enables

international lawyers to

graduate in two years with

the same J.D. degree that our

three-year students receive.

Prospective students are not

required to take the LSAT for

admission to this program.
