"!Dear Staff of the Food Bank,

My daughter, my sister and I feel deepest gratitude for your kindness towards us (and others in previous financial need). Frankly, we would not eat some basic nutritious food if it wasn't for you, and the generous folk who donate. Since my physical condition is exceedingly fragile, you are probably keeping me alive and I thank you! Thank you for your kindness,

!-!Your appreciative neighbor"
