• Technology consists of a set of knowledge (science) and abilities (techniques) that allows people to meet their needs and, therefore, improve their living conditions.

What´s technology?

• When applying technology in order to solve our problems, we don´t act on impulse.

• We proceed in a careful and organized manner, following a specific work method.

• This work method is called the technological process.

• The technological process is the work method used by technology and consists of the ordered sequence of steps that must be followed in order to meet a need or solve a problem.

practice the most suitable idea for our need.

• We must design the chosen object, which involves drawing the solution, specify dimensions, materials, costs, operations, etc.

Executing the design• We must plan the necessary actions

to carry out our design. • The work plan show us the

necessary tasks we must complete and the resources needed to complete them.

Evaluating• The evaluating allows us to determine

whether the problem has been solve or not.

• After the evaluating, we decide if modify our object, repeat the process… in order to find the expected solution.
