The All Progressive Congress (APC) has
emerged probably as an alternative to PDP
– but can they match up?
What really is the ideology of APC?Can the Electorate look up to the APC?
The present democratic rule started in 1999, the same
party – People Democratic Party (PDP) – has been
ruling since then with no viable opposition.
Nigeria is almost like a one-party state; because of this
the Electorate have been taken for granted – what can
they do? Definitely a new party would be needed to
challenge the status quo.
In as much as the NEW is always desirable, does
APC have the capacity to challenge the PDP?
Of a truth; the APC might achieve some success,
but in the interim they might serve as the needed
propellant for the PDP!
PDP; having seen the battle ahead, would want to
prove some points that they are still relevant.
Men/Women of integrity would be sought-out to
stand for election. This will eventually lead to
competition to deliver better dividends of
democracy for the Electorate.
The People Wins!
The Electorate will not only see true
democracy, they will understand in
practical terms that Democracy is
Government of the People, By the
People and for the People.
