THE SCHOOL AND THE COMMUNITY

Mount St. Michael Academy is a Catholic secondary school for boys, founded and conducted by the Marist Brothers of the Schools. Shortly after its founding in 1926, the Mount opened as a “boarding and day school in the country!” Today the Mount is an urban school with an enrollment of over 738 students (grades 6-12) that educates young men of diverse backgrounds to become morally and academically prepared to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and diverse world. We are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. We are chartered by the Regents of the State of New York.
