First things first . . .

Perform the following translations:

1) Translate the figure (2, -4):

This means two units to the RIGHT and four units DOWN!

Perform the following translations:

2) Translate the figure (-3, 1):

This means three units to the LEFT and ONE unit up!

Perform the following translations:

3) Translate the figure (-4, -4):

This means four units to the LEFT and four units DOWN!

Perform the following translations:

4) Translate the figure (6, -2):

This means six units to the RIGHT and two units DOWN!

1)If point A is located at (2, 5) and is translated three units to the left and two units up, where would A1 be?

2)If point A is located at (-4, 2) and is translated five units to the right and four units down, where would A1 be?
