To Often, we get discouraged and fail to tell other Students

Our Story

That will happen if we do not wait upon, and depend upon being empowered by the Holy Spirit!

This is why it is necessary to practice the disciplines of

daily Bible Study and Prayer.

You Can’t make Disciples of Christ by yourself!

But You are not by yourself!

Bridging Between Your Story and the

Gospel

Your Story

The Gospel

Q: What is the big advantage of studying the Bible for you?

A: To know what God has promised

A: To tell other students about God with confidence

Example of a Story Bridge:

Since I have come into a relationship with Jesus, He has changed me, made me His brother/sister, and given me

eternal life.

According to the Bible, God has made you His child too. (Acts 17: 28-29) Your problem is that until you come into relationship with Him, you are lost! But I can show you how to be saved!

5. Brief Discipleship Lesson

Within this relationship, the master leads a learner through a process (the discipline) until the learner can imitate or live like the master

Discipline refers to the process by which one learns a way of life.

A disciple is like an apprentice who is learning a trade or craft from a master.

Such learning requires a relationship between the master who knows the way of life (discipline) and a learner (a disciple).

Examples of Christian Disciplines:

Daily Prayer

Daily Bible Study

FastingStewardship

Journaling
