Find a road, and see where it will take you.
Over the past ten or twelve years, we’ve seen each of the contiguous US states and several provinces in Canada. All on a motorcycle.
We’ve learned how to pack light, adapt to changes in plans and weather, and make the best of whatever we find along the way. We can give plenty of advice on how to do it and where to go, what to see and what to do.
Some of the best times of our lives have been those when we just felt the freedom of the air around us and the pavement beneath.
Admittedly, however, some of the best stories were when something went awry…
First, Get a Driver
It’s really easiest to sit on the back seat. This gives one the option of complaining about anything that does not go well. It is also nice to have someone to talk to while you are waiting for the rain to stop.
Prepare Well for a Long Trip
Get the proper gear for any weather, and bring all of it—or just wear it.
Wish yourself some luck. If you can get help with that, do so.
