How to reboot on a MacIntosh
The user should push the triangular button found on the computer tower below the power button on the far left.
Monitor problems
Check that all connections are properly attached.
Check that power sources are on.
How to Zap the PRAM
Hold Option, Apple, P, R keys at the same time while restarting the computer.
After hearing the restart sound three times then let go all keys.
Force Quit
Hold the Option, Apple and escape keys until a box appears on the screen.
At this time click on the button labeled force quit.
Computer Maintenance
Clean screen using alcohol and paper towel. Pour the alcohol on the paper towel and wipe screen.
Remove cords from the rear of the computer and open the back cover. Place computer to the edge of the desk with the rear facing towards you. Gently pull downward and towards you. Then place the motherboard
aside. Wipe dust from the keyboard and in and around the computer using paper
towels and alcohol. Using a vacuum blow dust away from motherboard and computer Return motherboard to proper position and replug all cables. Place computer to original place.
