A Word From Your LTGHey Key Clubbers!Summertime is officially here and you what that means?? Blue skies, warm sun, and endless opportunities for service! In previous years, its been a time where our clubs and members disconnect and do their own thing. However, this year is going to be different! I plan for our division to spend more time together and grow closer so that we can be SUPER STRONG when school starts again in the fall. So be on the look out for announcements for upcoming service projects, events, and DCM’s because you won’t want to miss out!

DCM’s“you don’t wanna miss them”
What is a DCM?A Divisonal Council Meeting is a gathering of all key clubbers and officers within a division. A DCM can be a service project, a fun bonding experience, or an informational meeting.
Why are they important?DCM’s can be used for many different things. They can be held as a fun event to create bonding between key clubbers from different schools, or to participate in a service project with the whole division, or as an informational meeting with key insight and training.
ANYONE! If you’re already apart of key club then come with your club. Or if you know someone interested in key club then invite them to come along and check it out.

The June DCM will be at the downtown Fort Sherman Park from 11AM-1PM

at the same time by hosting a

rockathon with your club.

• Car WashesSummer is the perfect time to make
cars sparkle & shine while raising
money for KCCP. Grab a hose, sponge
& some fellow key clubbers to help
make this fundraiser successful.
• Talent ShowGet the community involved by throwing
a local talent show as a fundraiser.
Have people pay to participate, watch
or vote, to raise money for KCCP while
promoting Key Club at the same time.
Service ProjectOf the
month
Coeur D’ Alene High School Key Club just had their annual end of the year banquet! It was on
May 12th at Coeur D’ Alene High School. It was a special time of bonding between club
members, receiving awards, pins, and letters and also saying goodbye to the graduation seniors. A special congratulations to senior Makendra
Patzer for receiving the $1,000 senior scholarship given out by our sponsoring Panhandle Kiwanis!Makendra has been apart of CHS Key Club since
she was a freshman and served as an officer for 2 of those years. She very well deserved the scholarship so congratulations Makendra!
Great job CHS for honoring your club with a special banquet. Keep up the amazing work.
