Mass at St. Augustine Church St. Augustine Church, 204 6th Street NW in Barberton
is pleased to announce the return of the 5:15pm Mass
on Sundays beginning October 6.
DSWC The Divorced, Separated and Widowed Catholics of
Akron is sponsoring a talk by Michelle Studer from the
Akron Zoo. She will discuss the zoo’s history, current
happenings and future plans. Held Monday, October 14 at

First Step Program Tuesday, October 1 - 7:00pm - Immaculate Heart of

to those whose marriage is not valid in the Church, and
wish to re-establish full communion in the sacramental

Novena to St. Therese A Nine Day Novena in honor of St. Therese, the Little
Flower of the Infant Jesus and of the Holy Face is being
prayed at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon,
Maronite Catholic Church in Fairlawn, Ohio until her
Feast Day on Tuesday, October 1. Each day the novena
prayers will begin at 7:00pm and will include a devotion
to the Blessed Sacrament. At the conclusion of our prayer
a relic of St. Therese will be presented for individual
blessings. During this prayer we will include the
intentions of all priests and pray for vocations. We will
include intentions for all those enduring hardships
everywhere. On the Feast Day, a Mass will be
celebrated at 6:00pm followed by the novena prayers.
A light reception will be hosted after the service on the
Feast Day. Everyone is welcome.
First Friday Club of Cleveland Come and invite a friend, relative, or colleague to a First
Friday Club program. The Club meets at The Cleveland
City Club, 850 Euclid Ave. in downtown Cleveland on
the Thursday before the first Friday of the month. $20

LIFE CHAIN 2013 The National Life Chain will be held Sunday, October 6.

Organization offering free, tutoring in basic adult education

Events at Archbishop Hoban High School
Archbishop Hoban High School will administer a
Placement/Scholarship test to 8th grade students on
Saturday, October 5 and Saturday, October 19. Testing
will begin at 8:30am. Students may pre-register by
calling the admissions office at 330-773-6658 or register
at www.hoban.org. There is a $20 test fee. Parent
information session offered on both test dates.
Archbishop Hoban High School invites all 7th and 8th
