Although it
may seemhard to
choose, cometo UCLA and
have a blast
for the last
time!
PROS: Very good curriculum Nice campus In a city area with lots of resources nearby Lots of after school activities and social gatherings
CONS: Difficult to get into and competitive student body Big campus and sometimes hard to navigate Lots of traffic (drawing of traffic) Very expensive: tuition, boarding, books, etc

UCLA has become my home away from home. The majority of students here are very ambitious, studious, smart, involved, and social. My first year was alittle rough because of the transition away from home andjust adjusting to how the professors taught the classeshere. Additionally, being a science major, your first yearclasses are lecture halls (200-400 students a class!).
~Michelle, Psychobiology Major, Senior.
UCLA has so much to offer simply becauseof its sheer size, and there are endless opportunitiesno matter what your interests are. Of course, classes
are also huge, which can also be a disadvantage, and oftentimes professors seem only interested intheir research, and not in teaching.
~Rebecca, Junior (Undergraduate).
My time at UCLA was one of the bestexperiences of my life and I think Los Angeles is one of
the most exciting cities in the world because of itsdiversity, fun shopping opportunities and the beach.
-Julia
I enjoyed working with some of the
brightest minds in the countrythe professors,TAs, and undergraduate students in my classes
were incredibly intelligent. I am grateful forhaving the opportunity to interact with and
learn from my peers and mentors.
