What is an accrual?
It is the recognition of an expense or revenue
that has arisen but has not yet been
recorded.
Expenses or revenues are recorded before
the cash settlement.

Thewholesalers owed the company Rs. 10 million at the beginning ofthe year and still owes Rs.15 million at the end of the year. How
