believer’s lifestyle?

This is our RE topic for this half term. Work through the PPT at you own

pace ( about 5 hours altogether) and find out about people of faith.

Week 1

Think about these questions and maybe discuss them with your family

What is faith?

What does it mean for a person to have faith?

How does having faith affect people’s lives?

In what ways have people of Christian faith build God’s kingdom on earth? In what ways do people of Christian faith build God’s kingdom on earth

today?

Do you know anyone who is a person with/of faith?

How do they know this person has faith?

How does this person’s behaviour show they have faith?

Write about this person and why they are a person of faith

Week 2

Create a list of criteria needed by someone in order for them to qualify as a person with/of

faith.

What did Jesus say about having faith?Read the following stories: -

The temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4:1-11)Do not worry (Matthew 6:25-34)

How did the early followers of Jesus put their faith into action?

The teaching of Paul directs the early Christians how to live their lives as followers of Jesus Christ. The instructions written in his letters are in the Bible, and followed by us today. By putting these instructions into action Christians believe they are building God’s kingdom on earth.Look up:Romans 12,Colossians 3:1-17 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24.Create posters using modern illustrations to explain instructions and how to put them into action.
