GARAGEBAND~EDITING PROCESS~
Research
•We researched different types of horror soundtracks/ instrumentals.
•Then we noted down the instruments that where used in psychological thrillers.
•Stoker was our source of inspiration for the sound
•We liked the use of the piano being played throughout the trailer and building up of
the crescendo.
We looked on YouTube at different horror sound tracks. We wanted to
include a lullaby during the trailer for the bedroom scene of Victoria being taunted by the darkness, as a lullaby would
contradict the scene.
GARAGEBAND
•We uploaded the lullaby soundtrack onto garage band and began cutting some parts out and overlaying instruments. This was a difficult process, as Desiree and I both do not have experience with
garage band.•We struggled for a while to get the timing right with what is happening in the trailer.
