Why Use Music in Your Class?

• Sets the tone for your entire class (calms or accelerates)

• Provides a great method of implementing the senses in learning

• Offers variety to your class• Can influence kids in ways

other stimuli can’t

When to Use Music

- At the beginning of your class

- Activity time- Story time (audio stories!)- Scripture Memory- As a reward- To trigger special class times

But I Can’t Sing!

- Cassette Tapes- Split-track CD’s- Contemporary Christian stuff
