WHAT IS NEARPOD?• Nearpod is a web app/mobile device solution for creating

interactive presentations with assessment for use on mobile devices within education.

PEER ASSESSMENT Students that struggle to directly interact with their peers can now be involved in peer evaluation. Using an Interactive Whiteboard to display the Teacher’s screen, students can view each others work for peer assessment.

BENEFITS TO SEN EDUCATION?• Presentations can be emailed to individual students, enabling work to be carried

out at the learner’s own pace.

• Presentation can also be extended for individual students for differentiation by task.

• In group presentations the teacher is in control of the pace, enhancing concentration on the subject matter.
