This trailer was donated to me by a friend, who wanted it out of his yard. He saw rusty metal and I saw a Utility trailer build project. So I took it off his hands, it came with five used tires.

It has heavy rust and need tires. The overall frame is solid, Axle is in good shape. I want extend the length by 3 to4 feet. I need to check wheel bearing and change hitch to 2”.

I am welding supports beams to frame for support of cargo body

A total of three coats will be used before the finished product.

Painting trailer frame

Frame is allowed to dry 24 hours before next coat

First coat of paint drying (top)

First coat of paint completed (Black). Next step add new springs, mounts and apply second coat of paint to frame

Complete frame is painted except springs , which will be removed

Lights are installed with wiring and ready for hookup. Tag mount located in the Center.

Addition of rear bumper w/round Lights

All damaged and rusted out metal was removed with a cutting torch and replaced with new metal.

Modification of Cargo basket

Side panels will be extended by 20”

Taking measurements to fit ramps

Trailer fitted with hidden sliding aluminum ramps
