What is Vancouver ChangeCamp?
• One-day hybrid conference/unconference to answer these questions:– How can we help
government become more open and responsive?
– How do we as citizens organize to get better outcomes ourselves?

Unconferences
• An unconference is a facilitated, participant-driven conference centered around a theme or purpose
• Usually based on Open Space principles

Open Space Principles
• Self-organizing• All attendees are encouraged
to present or facilitate a session
• The goal is understanding, not necessarily to "win" or win support by being right
• Anyone can request assistance from any designated Facilitator at any time
• Law of Two Feet
Wikis• A wiki is a website that,
allows the easy creation and editing of any number of interlinked Web pages
• Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites.
