Application for Graduate Research Positions

INSTRUCTIONS

1. This application form should be used for all ISDE graduate assistant and post-doctoral graduate associate positions.

2. Applicants for ISDE graduate assistantships must also be accepted into the VU graduate electrical engineering program (application deadline is Jan. 15, 2007). Go to http://www.vanderbilt.edu/gradschool/prospective_students/application_and_information.htm to apply to the VUSE graduate program online.

3. Please complete and return the ISDE graduate research application to Becky Borsody at becky.j.borsody@vanderbilt.edu. E-mail is preferred, but printed applications can be faxed to 615-343-9550, or mailed to:

4. Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for all ISDE graduate research positions.

5. ISDE graduate and post-doctoral research positions are only available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. However, international students are eligible for additional graduate research assistantships available through the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering. Successful applicants will be automatically considered for these positions if requested in the VUSE graduate school application. Please specify “microelectronics” as your primary area of research interest.
